Welcome to Disciple Gaming Ministry
WHERE DISCIPLESHIP MEETS GAMING

Our Mission

Our mission is to share the gospel with gamers in Colorado and around the world and connect them with local churches so they can build a relationship with God. At the same time, we’re seeking to equip churches to use Tabletop RPGs (TTRPGs) as a Bible study aid so gamers can learn about God while engaging in a hobby they love in a welcoming community.

We want to integrate God and gaming to bring people closer to God and each other following the example set by the early church in Acts 2:42-47 (see also Ephesians 4).
How We Work as a Ministry

Disciple Gaming Ministry (DGM) published Royal Priesthood Roleplaying Game (RP2), and we offer it as a free resource to help gamers combine Bible study night with tabletop roleplaying. The group leader is equipped to prepare Bible study lessons and transform them into a roleplaying scenario so the players can learn biblical doctrine and immediately apply it at
the gaming table.

(DGM encourages groups to tell their story outside of the Bible’s pages by creating scenarios inspired and informed by Scripture without attempting to change or influence it. So groups studying 1 Samuel might live in the areas around the described events, but it’s best to avoid interacting with Samuel, Saul, or David.)
What We Offer
ROYAL PRIESTHOOD ROLEPLAYING GAME

BIBLE STUDY LEADERSHIP TRAINING

TEAM BUILDING
SESSION

RP2 is a Bible study RPG that equips Christians to learn Scripture and apply doctrine in a cooperative storytelling setting.

(4 hour seminar)
If you’re interested in setting up a Bible study RPG but don’t know where to start, we will train a group of your Bible study leaders (up to 6). If you’re in the Denver area, we'll gladly work with you in person. If you’re not local, we can do the seminar online.
(Half or full day)
The gaming table is a great place to build relationships by telling stories together and sharing in an adventure. If you’re a church or ministry looking for a way to help your team have fun and relax, we'll run a God-honoring and God-focused gaming session for up to 6 players on your team, either a half or a full day.*

Meet the Founder

GILES HASH
I grew up in love with God and nerdy games. At church, I loved studying the Bible, but I never quite felt like I fit in. In my early twenties, I started playing tabletop RPGs, and the friends I made at the table have lasted for nearly two decades, and they’re still going strong.

These two communities, the Church and my gamer friends, inspire me to be a better person, a better friend, and a better husband. But it wasn’t until 2021 that I started to think of some way to bring those communities together.
Games teach me to think creatively, and because I play with other people, I can’t act selfishly. This means the gaming table is the perfect place to practice and demonstrate godly character.

More importantly, the relationships I build at the gaming table provide a perfect opportunity to share the good news of God’s saving grace with my friends.
Testimonials
"Gaming with Giles is a lot of fun. He makes it easy for newbies and veterans alike to enjoy themselves.
He's exactly the kind of nerd you want in charge of things--whether he's writing RPG storylines or a sermon, he's always incredibly thoughtful and focused on doing his best so everyone involved can relax and have a great time playing or learning (or both!)."
Michelle, Arvada, CO
"If you're looking for a Game Master who is patient, methodical and focused on his players having fun, you've found him in Giles Hash.
He is patient with new players and always willing to work with them and make them comfortable, easing them into all aspects of game play. He's methodical in his attention to detail in crafting campaigns full of adventure, action, challenges and mysteries to engage even the most seasoned players.

And whether your focus is on role playing or combat adventuring, Giles will welcome you to his table and provide an incredibly fun experience."
Patrick, Aurora, CO
"I met Giles when he helped our YA group start a D&D game. Right off the bat, he was super helpful and friendly towards all of us even though we didn't know the first thing about D&D. He taught us all the basics, and after I took over being the Dungeon Master, he continued to help me run the game smoothly."
